Life, the final frontier

It seems to me that there are too many people that live their lives linearly. They go to college (or not), get married (or not), work (or not), and just live from day to day doing the same thing over and over until they pass away and have nothing to say for themselves but that they’ve lived a mediocre life. Maybe it’s horrible for me to feel this way, but it seems to me that most people live simple lives. I guess it’s the more comfortable thing to do, but it just seems so bland or uninteresting. I can only do great things in this life. I must.

I see people wearing business suits, and they seem like professionals, but they just seem like they are just a little part of a bigger picture. But what do these professional business men and women do. Do they design a spreadsheet with economic data? I mean there are so many people wanting to go into business for some company, with BBAs or MBAs, but what do they actually do?

What is it that I want to do? I want to go into management, but maybe also into business. If I take Business Calculus, I don’t want to have to take Calculus I if I decide to change my major. So, I need to talk with the academic advisor as soon as I get my grades.
