Changing site design

I’ve had this site up since around July 10th, which puts it up to about a month and a half. I’ve been having a couple of problems with the template for this website. The PHP for the template is customizable, but it’s specific to how the template was coded. I don’t feel like going through each bit of code and changing it up. There’s a couple of things I don’t like about the template design, and a couple of things I do like.

Pro:

  • The background is nice
  • The layout is good for the most part
  • I like the VIP links at the top underneath the site name

Con:

  • I don’t like how the links, categories, etc, are all the way at the bottom
  • I don’t like how the comments don’t look that great
  • I don’t like how I can’t use the ‘blog’ page as a start page and as the feeds page without having a direct link to an aggregate page of all my blog posts. It would really make my life easier, but I think that might have to do with the structure of wordpress.

What do you guys think?? Should I do a site overhaul, and use a new template design, or do you like how the site looks?? I really appreciate all the feedback. And also, let me know if it’s easy to subscribe to my RSS feeds. Let me know if there’s something you don’t like about the site so that I can improve it. Thanks!
